Welcome to Wylie Elementary School, the third and
fourth grades school in the Dexter Community
School District. Each year we have approximately
550 students at Wylie, with 10 to 11 classrooms at
each of the two grade levels.
Wylie Elementary School is located at 3060 Kensington
east of Baker road, just up the hill from Bates School.
We are proud to be an NCA Accredited elementary
school. Our mission is to provide a quality educational
experience for all students.
The growth and development of children is a concern that
we all share at Wylie School. Because children differ in
abilities, interests, past experiences, and the rate at which
they learn and mature, we cannot expect equal
achievement from every child. We strive to provide an
environment where every child can make the most of
his or her capacity and in doing so will experience success.
