At Tuesday's April 18, '06 Board of Education meeting, Yeo & Yeo, the accounting firm hired to conduct a second audit of the District's 1998 Construction Bond Project gave its report.
The overall finding was that Dexter Community Schools "expended public funds for the purpose for which they were voted." "As you know, for nearly two years, the District and its personnel (present and former) have been the subject of innuendo and allegations of poor financial management and misconduct voiced by a small segment of the Dexter community and by a reporter for the Ann Arbor Community Observer in an article entitled "Fuzzy Math."
